As part of Fat Dad in Leeds, I write about Family Friendly restaurants.
However, we managed to get auntie C to babysit so it meant we got a well deserved night off together.
The health visitor told us repeatedly to make sure that we had time to ourselves, and that it was vital that we did so. Living away from family and close friends makes this a bit difficult.
Anyway, we got a night off and decided to visit Cielo Blanco in Trinity, Leeds.
We settled on the Street Feast menu, which is essentially Mexican Tapas.
Seated outside the Restaurant on one of the larger tables. I was happy enough with the table but the ‘outdoor’ heating was a bit intense so we were quite warm.
This said, the service was really good – and the food excellent. I’ve been before but this time they’ve pretty much nailed it!
The selection is varied and all looks incredibly tasty! The menu can be found here.
At £11.95 per person (based on a minimum of 2 sharing) you could do a lot worse!
We decided on Fish Tacos, Steak Quesadillas, Pork and Squid Tostadas, Chicken Empanada, Meatballs and Sweet Potato Fries. As I mentioned earlier a fantastic selection and the food really was top notch. Accompanied by a bottle of Modelo for me and Elisha on a dry white.
A fantastic evening all round. Great staff, great food!
